Yogi S Murthi GIS & Technology Manager
Yogi Joined Entrust in 2012 initially as a part-time GIS developer and full-time research graduate on a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) project under the topic “An expert system in sustainable planning for the renewable energy sector” in collaboration with the University of Liverpool. He was appointed to a full time position in Entrust in 2014.
Yogi heads up our planning technical services department which has expertise in providing spatial, design and visualisation technologies in a broad spectrum of services provided by Entrust. GIS has traditionally been the prime focus with mapping solutions derived from GIS and AutoCAD provided to clients which are of the highest quality with up to date standards from both industry and research in a most efficient and economical way. His expertise in 3D technical modelling, using diverse software packages, allows Entrust to provide unique photomontages, wireframes and 3D modelling services for contentious planning applications and asset management solutions based on clients requirements. Within Entrust, Yogi and his team have also designed a number of of utility and small scale solar, wind and battery storage developments layouts.
Yogi holds an undergraduate degree in Aeronautical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering with expertise in wind turbine development. He also holds a Master of Philosophy from the School of Environmental Sciences in the University of Liverpool.
