Working on behalf of MBNL, Entrust has delivered over 100 Streetworks sites for EE & Three’s 5G upgrade programme. From identifying locations for the upgraded masts to be sited, through to the planning and acquisition process to help deliver new 5G coverage and an upgraded 4G coverage to the EE and Three networks.

Entrust is providing a wide range of services to the project, starting at the initial siting and design stage, where Entrust’s ICNIRP mapping software in conjunction with Entrust’s GIS Planning Designation software help our planning team to determine where the most suitable location to site the replacement mast structures exist. This has been a particularly important task given that the majority of the masts were located in the centre of towns and cities. We then consult the local stakeholders before submitting the planning applications and acquisition requests. The whole project requires strong project management skills given the volume of the sites, as well as the number of different work packages involved on each site.
